Outfit: Victorian Pink & Black

It's so bizarre to think these photos of me were taken last summer... It seems like just yesterday I was working with Adrienne Weber and Nathan Adhikari to bring Adrienne's items to life and then I rushed off to move to New York City. I definitely forgot to post photos here on my blog of this particular outfit because I've been hand-soaking this bodice from the late 1800's and trying to repair it as time passes. It will be moving to Chicago when I get my own place very soon- and I'll be selling it as a commission item through Adrienne in the Paulie Antiques Shop. Thank you to the ever willing Nathan Adhikari for always taking my photos.
love, polly

You are such a doll Polly! I love that photo of you smiling in particular. Great mixture of modern with vintage styling here, the detail in the top is beautiful!

Hope you're doing well!

I really like how that headpiece contrasts with your pink hair, it looks so glamorous and delicate at the same time.

That bodice is from the 1800's?? What's it like owning something from over 100 years ago? Where did you find something so old?? I would never dare wear it for fear of wrecking it, haha (although I suppose people keep telling me that things were generally made sturdier the further back in time we go, and it seems to have held up well!).

AAAH these photos are such a dream! The change of that profile picture on Facebook was really quite a tease. This is so lovely. The green and pink create such a magical, candy like feel that I really adore.

These photos are so interesting and gorgeous! The modern pink hair is such a juxtaposition of the vintage outfit. Love it.
