Tuesday

we are not two, we are one

When I found this dress at Salvation Army-I WAS SHOCKED. Let me just tell you, it was only $8! I was shocked and stunned and probably wet myself a little when I grabbed it off the rack (they had just tagged it that same day!). I ended up spending $41.. Alright- well, at least I can admit that I have a problem.. right? Can't wait to show you what else I found!!
This dress had a few slight spots on it that I could tell were minimal work to clean so I bought the dress anyway- (who wouldn't for $8??). The wedges are Jeffrey Campbell from Modcloth, and my grandmother Kutch gave me the rhinestone necklace (even though you can't really see it).
This was my breakfast a few days ago!
hope you have a wonderful day! I'm opening at Dandelion Vintage today ALL BY MYSELF! Lawd! I hope I don't set off the alarm or royally mess something up. We did a new display the other day that I can't wait to show you! Styling the mannequins is just my favorite thing ever!!
love, polly :)

Those blue wedges are ah-ma-zing! I wouldn't expect them to be paired with a vintage dress, but it looks wonderful! :)

Wow I cant believe it was such a steal! Great find to say the least. You look gorgeous in it, it fits you like a glove. I love when that happens. Good luck opening. I used to work at a vintage shop and would always get all sketched out if. The morning worried about the alarm. Love the new post

All my best,
Jessica

I love that film! It's so strange and raw and peculiar and amazing. I have to agree, the soundtrack is great, it had me from the start. I particularly like the Typewriter Tiptiptip song though, that can always cheer me up.

I am jealous of your blue JC's, lucky girl. And great thrift find, omg! I really need to do me some thrifting soon.

Omg, that dress is soo amazing. I'm in love with the entire outfit, really, the shoes go with the dress so well, and they're so obnoxiously blue. <3

The song is pretty freakin' great. I really want to watch the movie now.
