I am not sure how I feel about these photos since I am so new to using flash on my camera. I can't really decide whether I like the "feeling" or not. Any thoughts? I would really appreciate input. (I'm trying not to fall over.. haha)

These plants were EVERYWHERE (on my tights, in my hair, on my skirt..)
I love the imperfection of this photo.. something about it is so interesting to me.
The sunset was so beautiful that I just had to take advantage of it. These are my favorite kind of photos, spontaneous ones in between the drive from Urbana to Taylorville. It's so nice to get out of the car and walk around and see some beautiful scenery.
In this case, I was actually using the suitcase, so it was filled with belongings. It was really heavy to hike up the hill to get the pictures of the beautiful sunset. I really wished I almost brought an extra suitcase that was empty so I could hop up the hill more easily. Oh, well.. my arms are getting stronger and more muscular every day! (yeah, right)

These pictures are beautiful!
Flash makes it a lot clearer I think - like the main object of the picture, making the backgroud a tad darker if that makes sense
Other then that, they pictures are gorgeous and the sunset, sky and clouds are amazing. The whole colour of blues and pinks are just beautiful

I am a big fan of the imperfect photo you speak of. Those plants are everywhere around my house and I love how fuzzy and natural they are!
I love every pic! I think I'll go on ebay soon to see some pretty things too lol.

They're not bad by any means, and I probably wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't mentioned the flash. That said, I have to say in my own picture-taking adventures I'm not too fond of flash...
That first picture is epic! And I also like the one (without flash I think) where you're standing holding the case) : )
I guess the other possibility is to face the other way, so you get the sunset on your face. Then you can just take the odd picture of the sunset itself and intersperse them!
I hate using the flash on my camera,it always comes out to bright for my liking. I think the photos without the flash came out the best

aw, i'm so glad you made that hike with content filled suitcase and if this is what spontaneous looks like, well i'm SO impressed! everything about this un-planned shoot is blowing my mind, so good is WHAT!
