Gonna Take Her for a Ride on a Big Jet Plane

It has sort of become a habit to name my outfit posts with a song that I feel suits the look and feel of the shoot. In this case, I listened to "Big Jet Plane" by Angus and Julia Stone.
I thrifted this necklace from a mom and pop's store in Taylorville, Illinois (where I am from).
I got the dress from a thrift store on the St. Louis loop called Avalon Exchange for $16.50. Have you heard of it?
My Grandmother Kutch (the one who used to own the antique store, Plain Jane's Antiques when I was a little girl) gave me the tea cup and matching saucer.
The suitcase is from Salvation Army. I paid close to two dollars for it. It was a steal!
Shoes from Goodwill- $3.
I went to Lisa's Antique store today and took SO many amazing pictures and bought way too many pretty things. I will post them soon.
My cousin Heather wanted me to draw this tattoo for her foot. Finally finished it! :)
love, polly

hey hey! photography tip (by the way your pictures are amazing!) but try using flash outside! It's in the photography bible to do that and it'd make your pictures look even better! lovin' the blog, keep it up!! :D

My favorite is the last photo, too. I think I have the same type hair as you (thick, naturally curly) and your pictures make me want to cut it short again.

What gorgeous photos. THe sunset and your dress look so pretty.

I have to say that I hate flash in general and try not to use it as much as I can. I'd rather edit photos to make them lighter, rather than use flash.

Is Avalon Exchange a chain? I think there's one in Venice Beach, but I've never been.

I hate using the flash (and my S/O, who went to art school, recommends using a flash as little as possible)...
Your dress is adorable.

Ah the suitcase looks so perfect. I really want to buy a vintage luggage set but I am so freaked out that they will have bugs inside. Do you give them a thorough cleaning after they get home? If so how?

Love from Toronto. :)
